Security Policy

Updated and effective from January 24, 2021

We take your security seriously

BNK2 Spółka z Ograniczoną Odpowiedzialnością, trading as bnk² and bnk2, takes your security very seriously. This Security Policy highlights the measures we take. This policy should be read with the Terms of Service that you enter into with us.

Whether you are depositing with your payment card, bank account or using an alternative payment option, bnk2 keeps you safe.

bnk2 holds more than 100% of your account balance in segregated accounts, which means your money is always there when you need it.

Stay safe online

Keep your Account secure

Our security measures are designed to keep you safe online and off. But there are also precautions you should take with your account to protect your security. Use common sense whenever you can.

Upgrade your browser

If you’re not running the most up-to-date version of your web browser, you may be missing critical security patches and updates. You can get the latest version from the developer’s homepage.

Review your transaction history

Regularly review your transaction history. If you think someone used your account to make a transaction, immediately change your password and contact Customer Service.

Protect your computer

It doesn’t matter how diligent you are online if your hardware is insecure. Make sure your computer uses precautions like antivirus software and firewalls to prevent intruders from getting into your network or computer. Never open executable files from unfamiliar sources.

Keep secrets

Never share your account information with anyone. Nobody needs to know your Logon ID, Transaction PIN or password but you.

Sign out of your account

When you’re finished using your Wallet Account, don’t close the browser window without signing out first. This will clear your browser’s cache and protect you from anyone signing in as you.

Use strong passwords

Create a complex and unique password that is different from any other passwords you use. A strong password should be at least 8 characters long, won’t contain your real name and should contain uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numerals and at least one special character (i.e. ` ~ ! @ # $ %).

Avoid public computers

Never sign into this site from a public computer—you don’t own it so you can’t know how safe it is. This includes computer terminals at hotels, libraries, airports and internet cafes.

Availability and changes to this Policy

This Policy is available on the bnk2 website. We may change this Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by email (sent to the email address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on this website prior to the change becoming effective. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.
